The goal of London Naked Bike Ride 2018 is to raise awareness of the danger to the world due to pollution and get used to more health friendly means of transport such as cycling. Cycling makes the body more healthy and promotes body image self awareness. It also gives us non-renewable energy sources less dependent on oil. LONDON NAKED BIKE RIDE 2018, VENUES AND GUIDELINES
There are 6 start points for this year’s ride:
Here’s a topological map (similar to a tube map) showing how they fit together:
3 of the start points which are north of the river (Marble Arch, Regents Park, and Kings Cross) will all merge together near Piccadilly Circus/Haymarket. The 2 start points which are south of the river (Clapham Junction and West Norwood) will merge together at Vauxhall Bridge. Everyone (including Tower Hill) will then merge together on Westminster Bridge, then do the rest of the route in a huge group together.
The finish will be at the Wellington Arch. Once the participants reach the finish point, they should dress up as quickly as they can.
London Naked Bike Ride 2018 is a serious event, but you can of course have fun while cycling. It is part of a World Naked Bike Ride initiative that takes place in numerous cities around the world. Be a part of it and raise awareness and fulfil the goals of this protest peacefully.
