Park Chan Wook Will Kick Start London East Asia Film Festival 2016 with ‘HANDMAIDEN’.

Lady Vengeance, Sympathy For My Vengeance and OldboySouth Korea’s internationally well established film director Park Chan Wook Will Kick Start London East Asia Film  Festival 2016 with his latest film ‘Handmaiden’. The director is this year’s very special guest who will make an appearance at the opening of the Film Festival on 21st October, 2016. There will also be a Q&A session at the end of the screening of ‘Handmaiden’.

Park Chan Wook will then go on to introduce his famous Vengeance Trilogy on 22nd October, 2016 which will be part of a special Retrospective mainly focusing on his feature films and shorts. The films shown in the retrospective will include Sympathy For Mr. Vengeance, Oldboy and the 4K restoration of Lady Vengeance.

The Retrospective will be shown at the Picturehouse Central, while the short films and other features will be shown at Hackney Picturehouse and The Ritzy.

The film festival will run from 21st to 30th October 2016.
