The Italian crime film SUBURRA, which was first released in 2015, now has its own Netflix Original series releasing on 6th October 2017. The film was an adaptation from a book by the same name written by Carlo Bonini and Giancarlo De Cataldo in 2013. It’s film was directed by Stefano Sollima which starred  Pierfrancesco FavinoElio Germano and Claudio Amendola. The excellence in the direction of this film, and the story line which it followed almost made it as an expanded universe of Francis Ford Copolla’s Godfather. The film unearthed the connections between organised crime and politics. SUBURRA The Series Arrives On Netflix In October

Based on the novel of the same name but set several years before, Suburra: The Series, is full of action, drama and crime that sees 20 days of turmoil in 10 powerful episodes.
