This year Cannes had something new to offer other than the Film Festival, and it was the Fashion Festival. This year was the 1st ever Cannes Fashion Festival which showcased numerous designers from around the world whose clothes were adorned by different models who cat walked them in the Hotel Majestic, Cannes.

A beautiful collection of clothes designed by Noor Al-Jandal were also included in the Fashion Festival. Noor Al-Jandal is an Abu Dhabi based designer, and has honoured the arab world as being the first Emirati woman to showcase her designs in Cannes, France. Her inspiration for her collection came from Dubai’s luxurious and vibrant colours. The highlights on her designed clothes are the use of opulent fabrics and exquisite embroidery done on them.
