Christopher Laird’s Sci-Fi Novel Adapted For The Stage

One of Christopher Laird’s best selling science fiction novels titled ‘The True Meaning Of Christmas: From The Perspective Of An Alien‘ has been dramatized for the stage as a play. The stage play has been scheduled to be shows worldwide on December 11th 2021 on Airmeet, a video streaming site.

United States artist Isis Damil playing Xona Bari

The play revolves around Xonda Bari, an alien from 800 years in the future who travels to Earth back in time to the year 1941 to visit her boyfriend to inform him that they have changed history during her prior visit to Earth. Coincidentally, her visit takes place during Christmas and she starts wondering what it is. Her wealthy architect boyfriend Monty Herrshoff, tries to explain to her about what Christmas is, but realizes that he himself does not know much about it.

The play carries within it a strong message, which is relayed very artistically to the audience through the medium of comedy.

The play stars United States Recording artist Isis Damil, who plays Xona Bari, and United States recording artist Nathan R, playing Monty Herrshoff. The play also stars Vinny Multhaupt, David Symonds, Glenn Szeman, William Estes, Rahim Shahid, Jeremey Francois, Mia Frey, Cory Reiter and others.
