Girl Generation’s member YoonA’s first Chinese drama God Of War Zhao Yun will start airing on April 3, 2016.

God of War Zhao Yun is South Korean actress YoonA‘s first Chinese drama. She has worked opposite another Korean actor Kim Jeong Hoon. It is a historical drama based on a legendary Chinese General Zhao Yun. The story deals mainly with war and love.

YoonA plays the lead role as Xiahou Qing Yi, while Kim Jeong Hoon plays the role of General Li Zhi. Li Geng Xin plays the Legendary General Zhao Yun.

The drama will start airing on April 3, 2016 on Hunan TV consisting of 60 episodes. The story takes its main inspiration from a well known historical novel ‘Romance of the Three Kingdoms‘ written by Luo Guanzhong.
