It is rumoured that Cuban actress Ana De Armas would be joining the cast of the upcoming Michael Mann crime film Heat 2, a sequel to the original ‘Heat’ which was released in 1995. If the rumour is true, then she would be playing the lead role of Eliza, the Mexican lover of Neil McCauley, a role played by Robert De Niro in the original, and a partner in his scheme. At the moment, Ana has not officially joined the cast. Austin Butler and Al Pacino are also rumoured to be involved with the project.

Heat 2 will be an adaptation of the #1 New York Times Bestseller authored by Michael Mann himself.
